Having been a member of the legal profession since 1997, Edwin has served in a number of different capacities. Edwin has established himself as a "go-to" lawyer with substantial experience representing thousands of clients in state and federal matters. He has been all over the country and the world representing individuals and companies in civil and criminal matters and related investigations.
After receiving his law degree from Pepperdine University School of Law, Edwin served as the judicial law clerk to the Honorable Robert M. Takasugi in the Central District of California and as the first judicial law clerk to the Honorable Edward M. Chen in the Northern District of California.
Also early in his career, Edwin was an attorney at the Asian Law Caucus in San Francisco, the nation's oldest legal and civil rights organization serving low- income Asian Pacific American communities. There, he worked on high profile anti-Asian violence cases including, United States v. Dr. Wen Ho Lee, Kuan Chung Kao v. Rohnert Park, and Truong v. San Francisco Housing Authority.
Thereafter, Edwin joined the San Francisco Public Defender's Office as a trial attorney where he represented criminal defendants charged with various crimes from petty misdemeanors to serious felonies and tried dozens of cases to verdict. Edwin spent several years as a partner at the criminal defense firm of Clarence & Dyer, LLP, and as an attorney in the White Collar Crime Practice Group at Rogers Joseph O'Donnell & Phillips, both in San Francisco.
In 2009, Edwin established his own law practice to use his contacts, experience, and skills to provide results and solutions for his clients.
